How it works
Add a beneficiary in the Bitkey app. They will need their own Bitkey and app to start a claim and receive funds.
Your beneficiary can start an inheritance claim in their app. Once a claim is started, a 6-month security period begins.
Funds are transferred to your beneficiary after a 6-month security period, during which you’ll receive alerts and can cancel the claim.
At the end of the 6-month security period, funds will be made available to your beneficiary for transfer to their wallet.
